This is a First edition without the portrait frontis of Reverend Sluyter. Inscribed by the Reverend's wife, I believe, to her neice on the ffep. XV pages; preface and introduction, 132 pages; Memoir. Good tooled cloth covers 4"x 61/4"tall. Very light age-toning. Past owner's name penned on the verso of the inscription. Again her name in fountain pen on the last hard endpaper. No other marks in the textblock. All around GOOD secure not too fragile for holding and enjoying an historical read. Inscribed by Author.
