Il primo piano è animato da un gruppo di persone che conferisce alla composizione un caratteristico valore pittoresco. Lungo la sponda opposta si riconosce il profilo di Villa Geno, mentre lungo la sponda occidentale del primo bacino sembre riconoscersi il complesso di Villa Olmo, mentre in lontananza l'abitato di Cernobbio.

Suggestiva veduta dell'antico porto di Como, che fu importante fulcro della vita economica della città. In secondo piano una lucia, tipica imbarcazione lacustre ed il comballo dalla caratteristica vela. I monti fanno da sfondo alla pittoresca scena.
Veduta degli antichi portici della cittadina di Bellagio sul lago di Como. L'incisione che traduce a stampa un disegno di Thomas Miles Richardson realizzato durante il suo viaggio del 1837 presenta un perfetto stato di conservazione, infatti, la litografia conserva ancora inalterati i rialzi alla biacca che nel contrasto con il fondo seppia conferiscono allo scorcio una particolare atmosfera di eterea bellezza.
Veduta della cittadina di Bellagio sul lago di Como. La scena è animata in primo piano dalla presenza di alcuni personaggi, mentre lungo la riva alcune donne sono intente al lavaggio dei panni.
