I love you. and I think you love me too'; ' Un cube se transf…orme eu cercle par la chaleur de Cardena'; 'The soup is delicious'. The artist has used a photograph of himself setting up a video and combined this with collage elements which he has then photocopied to create the broadsheet. The Colombian artist Miguel Angel Cardenas moved to the Netherlands in the 1960s where he became known as Michel Cardena. Cardenas created the concept of the Warming Up etc, etc, etc. Company, where the Colombian artist set fire and roasted imitations of Mondrians as a statement about the cold northern philosophical art tradition prevalent at the time, among other conceptual activities. Condition: some handling marks, slight toning to bottom and right edge, no tears or creases, overall: very good+.

The work consisted of 'live-video-performance for 2 dancers, 1 musician, 12 cameras, 3 faders, 1 wiper etc. etc. etc.'. Performed at Galerie de appel. Published by the artists 'Warming Up etc. etc. etc.' company, which took its name from Cardena's proposal that the art in the Netherlands and Europe was too 'cold' and logical, and needed to be warmed up. Cardena exemplified this in works such as rolling a canvas with a Mondrian painting (reproduced) on it, round the skewer of a spit roast machine, and cooking it, and also burning installations of 'Mondrian' canvases. Condition: Minor handling marks but overall Near Fine, a fresh beautiful copy.

Indeed, Fandangos is seen as one of the most important conceptual art magazines from the Netherlands, which shows the importance of South American avant-garde artists to the conceptual art scene of The Netherlands in the 1970s. In den WarenkorbZustand: Fine. 298 x 210 mm. Printed document with rubber stamp, small silver gelatin photograph of the artist, signed by the artist. A certificate issued by Cardenas certifying that the artwork features in the attached folder by two of his students Hans Mellendijk and Herman ter Beek is approved by cardenas as part of the 1,000…,001th year birthday of art. The idea of this birthday and such certification belonged to the fluxus artist Robert Filliou. The work feaured in the booklet (text in Dutch) is a portable fire in a suitcase. A suitable artwork shown in different situations. Cardenas created the concept of the Warming Up etc, etc, etc. Company, where the Colombian artist set fire and roasted imitations of Mondrians as a statement about the cold northern philosophical art tradition prevalent at the time, among other conceptual activities. No edition size give, but though less that 25 copies printed. Conditio: slight rust marks to left margin from where the document was placed inside the folder with its metal hinges. Folder: fine.
