A play based on the famous stories of Ryunosuke Akutagawa. This version of the tale was televised in 1960 with Ricardo Montalban and Oskar Homolka under the direction of Sidney Lumet. In 1964 co-author Michael Kanin adapted his play to film for director Martin Ritt. Given a Western setting and entitled *The Outrage*, it starred Paul Newman, Laurence Harvey, Claire Bloom, Edward G. Robinson, William Shatner, and Howard Da Silva. A nice copy of an uncommon play.
