With eleven line drawings and sixteen magnificent colour lithographs including a folding three-panel plate and endpaper decorations, all of which were created on the spot in the English Lakes with a few others in Scotland. A trace of very light fading to the board margins, and a former owner name inked to the head of the half-title. A very good copy. No dust wrapper called-for. "Graham was told which plate was to be a recto or verso page, and which a double page spread. His enthusiasm as usual carried him away and the drawings got wider and bigger, and so they have been collated and folded as best they could because I had the job of making the volume a practical proposition, whereas he would have gone on drawings more and more had I let him" from the publisher's note.
