Mellor, a praticising falconer, had flown a variety of hawks in India and produced this work of advice on flying and training hawks. A practical treatise in which he recommends the learner to start with a Kestrel. It considers dealing with ailments and accidents to hawks and their treatment. Concludes with a glossary, bibliography and full index.
