Contemporary gift inscription to an Isabella Downer dated 1847 to volume I preliminaries; "Western Supply Co." stamps to preliminaries of each volume; light spotting and smudging; interiors else unmarked. A Very Good and attractive set, notable for the appearance Kenny Meadows' illustrations.
