First free endpaper soiled with old ink names and text, page 530 and last blank with old ink name and date 1776, pale damp stain affecting top and bottom margins, just running into text of about 60 pages, 2 leaves facing each other have closed tear at lower part neatly repaired, no loss to text, small ink splash to 1 index page, all text legible, small ink spots affect some pages at end, a few other minor spots or stains, otherwise a good copy.
