The diary opens at Doulieu on 2 August 1915. 1915 is spent at Steenbecque, Fleurbaix, Doulieu, Armentieres and Sailly-Sur-La-Lys. 1916 at Long Valley, Ypres, Steenbecque, Albert and In Trenches. 1917 at Dickebusch, Toronto Camp, Ypres, Nordausques and Houtkerque. It closes at Esquerdes on 31 October 1917. Steenbecque is where it spent longest, 122 days across nine separate stays, it came back to Fleurbaix seventeen separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 43 days at Dickebusch.
