This speculative guide to buying and selling currency forward is illustrated by 11 pages of tables "showing the equivalent of different usances to the sixty days sight rate of Exchange on London at rates of interest from one to eight per cent. per annum"…(p. 3). Small octavo. With a separate exchange rate table pasted to front pastedown. Original calf, front board lettered in gilt and both boards panelled with leaf roll in gilt, edges red. Minor recolouring at extremities, endpapers lightly browned from turn-ins, a couple of minor ink marks to lower edges of contents, a very good copy.
