M'Cormick, including a frontispiece of explorers trekking the Alps. Collated complete.A seasoned traveller, Conway undertook expeditions in for the Royal Geographical Society to mountain ranges such as to the subsidiary summit of Balgot Kangri in Pakistan, as well as later winning the society's 1905 founder's medal for exploring the arctic archipelago Spitsbergen. This particular book, detailing his expedition of the Alps from west to east, is a favourite range of his, being both president of the Alpine Club from 1902-1904, and was the first ever president of the Alpine Ski club in 1908.
