She was a portrait artist, linguist, musician and diarist. Georgiana Huntly McCrae arrived in Sydney with her husband, Andrew McCrae, and children in March 1839. By 1842, the family had settled at Mayfield House on the Yarra River. The family moved again to Dromana in 1845.
