The contents has 32 chapters in three parts, a color frontispiece, a map, b/w photos, glossary, and index. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are faded and a little frayed. The front board is a faded along the top edge and has two 1/4 in. lines of stain. The front endpaper has an owner's name. Three pages are darkened in an uneven manner, apparently by something that was laid in. DJ: Price clipped. The front panel's top margin is missing; crease lines are on its bottom margin. Tight binding, corners bumped slightly. DJ is preserved in mylar, has not been price clipped (originally $2.50). Has some creases and chipping along the edges, a 3" by 1" piece is missing from the back, top right corner and a 3/4" by 1" piece from the bottom of the spine. No text on spine appears to be missing.
