Elle crée de très nombreuses scénographies pour l'Opéra royal d'Anvers, pour le Théâtre national de Belgique à Bruxelles, pour les théâtres de Gand et d'Anvers, pour le Ballet du XXe siècle, pour le Ballet de Wallonie. En 1984, elle fait don à la Bibliothèque-musée de l'Opéra de 350 maquettes de décors et de costumes pour 21 spectacles (La Bague, Tanagra, Cendrillon, Les deux pigeons, L'amour des trois oranges, Aubade, La création du Monde, L'enfant et les sortilèges, Giration, Jurupary, La Métamorphose d'Eve, Les Mouchoirs, Le pauvre matelot, Pétrouchka, Rébus, Le roi d'Ys, Le sacre du printemps, Tirsi e Clori, Nuit, Petite suite, Tanagra) dans différents théâtres (notamment en Belgique).La riche et abondante documentation accompagnant ce don a été classée sous la cote « Dossier d'artiste May Néama ».Born 1917, in Vienna.Designer, illustrator, graphic designer, scenographer.
