Bookplate. Zustand: Good. Format is approximately 3.5 inches by 4.5 inches with the image size approximately 2.75 inches by 3.5 inches. This is a bookplate stating "ex libris Dr. Hans Mautner" (in script, could be Maulner). Appears to have been drawn by A. Reischer (sp). On the left side is a spiraling snake around a naked child with a chalice at the top. The text has exlibris at the top (with the 'l' and 'b' elongated) and the name is below with both "M"s elongated. This may have belonged to the Dr. Hans Mautner who wrote Die Krankheiten der Lymphdrüsen (The Diseases of the Lymph Glands). The artist may have been Alice Katscher Reischer who was an Austrian visual artist, born in 1891 and died in 1968.
