Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - 'History of the Synod of Minnesota, Presbyterian Church, U S A' is a comprehensive chronicle of the Presbyterian faith's evolution and establishment within the state of Minnesota. Authored by Maurice Dwight Edwards, this meticulously researched work traces the origins of the Synod, from its early missionary efforts among indigenous populations and frontier settlers to the formal organization of presbyteries and the growth of various congregations. The narrative details the challenges faced by early religious leaders and the pivotal role the church played in the social and spiritual fabric of the growing Midwestern region. It provides deep insights into the administrative structures, doctrinal stances, and educational initiatives that defined the Presbyterian presence in the North Star State through the early 20th century. This volume serves as an essential resource for those interested in American religious history, regional church development, and the cultural heritage of Minnesota.
