3. London, British Museum, 1885, oversized in-folio, 48 x 35 cm, 18 pp + 28 photographs each mounted on a stiff board, kept in the original half cloth portfolio with ties. Ex-library copy, with some markings and stamps on the portfolio. The portfolio rather worn, the printed text leaves with some frayed margins and with some foxing. The plates in fine condition with only a small circular stamp on the verso of the boards. The photographs represent leaves from mediaeval Latin manuscripts.
