Buch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Towards Territorial Transition presents new spatial strategies, concepts, and approaches for shaping large-scale and transnational developments in architecture and urban design towards decarbonization and ecological transition. The contributions investigate interactions between ecological and resource-related systems and landscapes. They explore potential solutions to address and deal with the dramatic threats posed by climate change, and with the social crisis that may emerge from them. The book introduces six basic terms of territorial transition-Territory, Scale, Transition, Resource, Platform, and Uncertainty-and visualizes them with spatial strategies elaborated at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture Versailles and at Graz University of Technology. Moreover, it presents a selection of transnational projects of territorial transition, such as Luxembourg in Transition (Luxembourg / France), Grand Genève (Switzerland / France) and Top Noordrand (Belgium / Netherlands).; Towards Territorial Transition stellt räumliche Strategien, Konzepte und Ansätze vor, um in Architektur und Stadtplanung in grossem Massstab und grenzüberschreitend Entwicklungen in Richtung Dekarbonisierung und ökologischer Wende zu gestalten.

Artistic Directors Sharon Johnston and Mark Lee: ?Invisible Modern Architecture aims to examine the legacy and propose a forward-looking reuse of late modernist architecture, slab urbanism, underground infrastructure, and invisible structures. Part of a series, initially developed in collaboration with artist Ania Soliman, the project will continue exploration of post-digital architecture and post-digital institutions to open the field for a communal imaginary. Invisible Modern Architecture takes on the contested topic of an urban thickness: slabs and deck typologies centralize criticism around the abandonment of natural reference in favor of abstract and artificial architecture. AWP confronts a strategic question concerning the underground, within the context of Paris?
