Una traccia di fango a pagina 12 e per il resto esemplare, in buone condizioni di conservazione. Prima rarissima edizione di questo interessante e curiosa descr…izione cronologica dei sovrani del Regno di Napoli presentati in versi da Luigi Mattei, figlio del celebre poeta di corte di corte di Carlo III, Saverio che fu anche noto musicologo, biografo di Metastasio e professore di lettere orientali, nativo di Montepaone in Calabria. Luigi Mattei fu in seguito vittima della repressione sanfedista del Cardinale Ruffo, dopo la caduta della Repubblica Napoletana del '99 come anche il fratello Gregorio, giornalista e fondatore di giornali repubblicani che venne impiccato a Napoli. L'autore nella prefazione, dichiara di aver composto l'opera a Modugno di Bari. Lo scritto si ispira al'opera del Barone di Petrara, Andrea Noto che aveva pubblicato un'opera simile dedicata ai Re di Sicilia, opera che Luigi aveva abbondantemente studiata su richiesta del padre Saverio.
