Soft cover. Zustand: Near Fine. Pp. 221-415, [viii], 8vo, tan wrapper with yapp edges. A literary quarterly edited by T. S. Eliot during its entire run from October 1922 until it ceased publication in January 1939 ("Perhaps one of the most influential critical reviews of its day," Miller-Price 45). Contents include: an essay by Yeats (his footnote informs the reader that "The Irish periodical, which has hitherto published my occasional comments on Irish events, explained that this essay would endanger its existence. I have therefore sought publication elsewhere.-W.B.Y."); an essay by Forster, a poem by MacLeish, and a short story by Moncrieff. Also with book reviews by Richard Aldington, John Shand, Herbert Read, T. S. Eliot, Edith Sitwell, and others. A near-fine well-preserved copy overall; contents clean; wrapper yapp edges folded over over the edges as usual, a few small droplet stains to a corner of upper wrapper and textblock edge, some faint dust-soiling.
