Slipcase worn and with some splitting and tape to the edges. Spines faded with signs some light rubbing of rubbing at the edges. Some minor white marks to the rear of volume 2, but binding overall in lovely condition. Internally very clean. Bookplates to the front pastedowns of each volume belonging to Richard Archer, who was director at the Chapin Library at Williams College, Massachusetts. Large 8vo. Illustrated.
