Light soiling and a few minor stains "(1)" in early hand to front wrapper, spine perished, wrappers secure, moderate toning and light foxing to interior. $500. * Only edition. The "Massachusetts Farmer" calls for the secession of the original states from "the illegitimate states beyond the Allegheny Mountains and Louisiana." An act of preservation, succession will prevent a nation too large and diverse to govern. Several sources, such as Sabin, attribute this pamphlet to Lowell.
