Illustrated with 5 colour plates, including a colour map of Norfolk, and numerous further illustrations accompanying the text. Collated and complete. Formidable in size and content, this fascinating volume on the history of Norfolk would be a great addition to the library of any Anglo history enthusiast. This work contains information on the history of Norfolk during the Norman Age, the Middle Ages, the Tudor reign, through to the nineteenth century. Also including information on medieval art and ecclesiastical history, it contains an extensive display of autographs from notable Norfolk figures. Appendix to the rear. Rebound with original backstrip and cloth laid down to the spine and boards. Externally smart, with light wear to the extremities and a little fading to the spine and boards. Front hinge is starting but remains firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, apart from a scattering of spots to the first and last few pages. Colour plates are in very bright condition. Very Good. book.
