Cloth at head and foot of spine is chipped, about half an inch of cloth at head of spine is missing, revealing binding beneath. Title label also has small portion missing, about half an inch. Leather appears cracked and worn; stamping is quite difficult to read. Corners have been bumped. Front gutter and gutter between p. 104-105 are cracked through. Covers remain firmly attached. One of the signatures is loose (pages 107-118), remains attached by a thread. Previous owner's name written on front free endpaper. Pages toned with age, with some light foxing here and there, but overall are clean. A good reading copy.
