Suite of 12 graphic prints on heavy paper stock (approx. 28x35.5cm) (Lotus Bed I & II and Lotus I - X) printed digital ink-jet, each with additional title sheets printed on tissue paper; title and publisher on additional ti…ssue sheets (29 printed sheets total). Also includes oblong quarto sting-bound booklet (16ll.) with essays on Rauschenberg by Mimi Thompson and Judith Goldman. Text in Chinese followed by English translations. Housed in original decorated silk-covered case with string ties, which is in turn housed in the rather worn original white Styrofoam shipping box. Minor creasing and folds along edges of sheets and booklet; rubbing to case; Very Good and sound. Colophon notes that this work was presented to Holding Capital Company and Global China Holdings to commemorate the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. We note the 2008 Lotus Series Da Feng Gallery Exhibition Catalog is rather uncommon with only one holding at The Whitney Museum in OCLC. We find no record of this slightly later and rather neat production.
