Th…e next letter states: "For the time being, my name and newspaper connections are not to be mentioned in any public reference to the book." There is another letter from Babcock thanking Mrs. Hopkins for the return letter. There is one more letter sent to Mrs. Hopkins from someone who will remain a mystery, who read the book and it states: "SORRY I CANNOT SAY THAT I LIKED IT--WHY DID HE WANT TO WRITE THAT KIND OF BOOK?"
