Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.

Number 60 of 550 copies, 525 of which were printed for sale. With a portrait frontispiece, and plates throughout. Marjorie Fleming (15 January 1803 19 December 1811) was a Scottish child writer and poet. In a brown cloth binding with gilt title detailing to the front board and spine, with an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with just minor shelfwear only; slight bumping to the extremities. The dust wrapper has been preserved in a plastic wrapping and is in lovely condition, with only a few marks. Internally, the binding is a little strained in places. The pages are bright and clean, with light spotting to the fore-edge. Three plates appear to have been removed. Very Good Indeed. book.
