Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. Moderate tanning to free endpapers due to dust jacket flaps. Top textblock edge dyed red. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. With a portrait frontispiece, and plates throughout. Marjorie Fleming (15 January 1803 19 December 1811) was a Scottish child writer and poet. In a brown cloth binding with gilt title detailing to the front board and spine, with an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with just minor shelfwear only; slight bumping to the extremities. The dust wrapper has been preserved in a plastic wrapping and is in lovely condition, with only a few marks. Internally, the binding is a little strained in places. The pages are bright and clean, with light spotting to the fore-edge. Three plates appear to have been removed. Very Good Indeed.
