The book features an engraved title page and is illustrated with 21 copper engravings (mostly depictions of various abscesses). Antiqua typesetting; pages are decorated with headpieces, tailpieces and initials. /// Parchment binding with coloured edges; hardback, [28]+468+[46] pp., 8° (16 x 20 cm), parchment yellowed and slightly uneven, back cover has brown spots, back board slightly deformed, slightly starting hinge (binding still tight enough), front endpaper has small chips, tears and bookworm traces, both title pages are (not very skilfully) fixed with pieces of paper, pages yellowed, rarely with a few small brown spots, tiny chips skilfully fixed by bookbinder, condition: very good Book Language/s: Latin.
