Hindemith's delightful one-scene "sketch" - a parody of conventional opera tropes featuring a coloratura ariette, a jealousy duet, and a terzet for the tenor, baritone and bass. This copy is from the personal library of distinguished Hamburg Opera baritone and noted stage… director Heinz Blankenburg (my brother-in-law) - one of his stage-directing copies, endowed throughout with his stage directions and stage set-ups. Regrettably, he did not sign this particular score as he did with many others in my inventory. 23+ pages. CONDITION: This near-century-old copy has quite worn covers (GOOD PLUS), repaired with unobtrusive library archival tape, its binding likewise reinforced and now secure. The VERY GOOD PLUS score pages are clear and uncreased, marked only by the Maestro's stage directions. This quite scarce score is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board, for safe storage and transport.
