Maillol and his nephew developed a special handmade paper in a workshop at Montaval, France. Tirage sur alfa d'édition. Récit d'une guerre imaginaire fondé sur les carnets de route, retrouvées sur la dépouille mortelle du Capitaine Saint Bris, prisonnièr de son avion abattu au début de la première guerre mondiale. Ouvrage mêlant des témoignages vécu ( attaques portées sur l'Est de la France, entre Lorraine, Alsace et Territoire de Belfort, etc ) et des épisodes imaginés, ou le narrateur, " le Capitaine Saint Bris ", finira par abattre le Kaiser, lors d'un duel aérien. L'auteur, Marie Edmond Charles Maxime, Lieutenant de Lafargue, ancien officier de Cavalerie, devint aviateur, ce qui explique le réalisme des descriptions des combats aériens. Rare édition originale de ce roman d'anticipation aérienne, surtout dans un tel état de fraicheur.
