Ledificio padronale di questa seconda proprietá gode di una certa fama di ordine storico, per esservi stata stipulata, il 16 aprile 1814, la convenzione che, mettendo fine alie ostilitá tra i Franco-italiani e glj Austriaci, preannunció la cessazione del regno napoleónico dItalia.
