Edition originale très rare de la thèse de Maraini (1873-1939), un des pionniers de l'urologie moderne en Argentine. Maraini se perfectionna en France (auprès de Guyon et d'Albarran) et surtout en Allemagne (auprès de Nitze et de Casper), avant de devenir chef du service d'urologie et professeur à l'université de Buenos Aires. Cette thèse, composée de dix chapitres, constitue une monographie complète sur la cystoscopie.
