In den WarenkorbPaperback. Zustand: Good. None (illustrator). A remarkable account of London's burial places written after the Great Fire of London, reprinted in 1885. Written by Payne Fisher, a poet active in the seventeenth century. Left a pauper after fighting for the wrong side during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms, he wrote a great deal of Latin verse; while locked up in Fleet Prison, he undertook this work along with one on the tombs of St. Paul's Cathedral. Both of these catalogues saw later revised editions, demonstrating their importance. This was initially published in 1668, two years following the fire, and lists the tombs and gravestones of extant churches from 'St. Katherines beyond the Tower to Temple Barre'.A limited edition, No. 72 of one hundred copies printed. In the original paper wraps. Externally generally smart, with some age-toning and chipping to the extremities, in particular around the tail of the spine and to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are uncut, and with just the occasional spot. Good. book.

Unbound. Zustand: Very Good. An 14" x 11" black and white photograph mounted to a 22' x 24" printed matte. Creasing on the photograph corner else very good or better in a good plus matte with tidemarks along the bottom edge, spotting, and small chips. A photograph of the crew of the Memphis Belle posed with their plane during a war bond tour in 1943 Signed by Major Robert "Bob" Morgan. The photograph is framed with a matte containing the history of the Memphis Belle, her crew, and details of the historic missions flown during World War II. The commemorative matte was commissioned by the Morgan Manufacturing Company, Inc. of Ashville, North Carolina, the company owned and operated by Major Morgan's father, later operated by Robert K. Morgan and his brother. The plane and her crew made history by being one of the first B-17 bombers to complete 25 bombing missions and became national heroes. The story of their missions inspired two films, a documentary in 1944 and a feature film *Memphis Belle* in 1990 starring Matthew Modine, Eric Stoltz, Billy Zane, Sean Astin, John Lithgow, and Harry Connick Jr. in his debut film.
