Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound in hardcover format exemplars, generally clean, lightly toned at worst, minimal rubbing to extremities, bound in teal-green cloth over boards, sharp and distinct gilt lettering to spines. Slight smudging to bottom fore-tips. Else quite attractive, and they look great on the shelf. Complete with Good condition, quite scarce dust jackets, machine-clipped but not price-clipped, moderately worn and rubbed, one dust jacket being also lightly soiled and with several short, closed tears. Date of publication not listed, but appears to be the 1959 edition published jointly by three publishers. Augmented with many fine reproductions in black-and-white of Italian paintings.
