Boards show notable wear: rubbed with cloth loss at corners and runners, corners bumped, lightly soiled, letter a in "Day Out" coloured in. Front pastedown with paper loss, lacking ffep. Scribbling in red crayon p.154-56 (word list); p.15 with small scribble in blue ink. Surprisingly the body is free of any other scribblings or doodles. Pages dirtied from countless small hands. Corner of p.9 / 10 with paper loss. Despite these blemishes this remains a charming early reader, beautifully illustrated by Florence and Margaret Hoopes. The Alice and Jerry Books.
