Dabei soll festgestellt werden, inwieweit eine Umsetzung dieses neuen personalpolitischen Konzeptes in die Entwicklungsabteilungen stattfindet. Weil es sich bei hierbei nicht um eine direkt mit der Andragogik verbundene Disziplin handelt, wird zu zeigen sein, dass durch Assoziation mit der Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung, auch dem Diversity Management ein pädagogischer Aspekt innewohnt. Dieser Auffassung soll schließlich mit Hilfe der Ergebnisse, der im Rahmen einer qualitativen Untersuchung geführten Experteninterviews, Rechnung getragen werden. Zu Beginn der Arbeit steht eine Fabel, welche dem Leser ein Gefühl für das Bestreben von Diversity Management vermitteln soll. Im Anschluss werden das Entstehen, die begriffliche Tragweite und die Dimensionalität von Diversity Management beleuchtet. Schließlich wird auf die Notwendigkeit des Zusammenspiels der Vielfalt hingewiesen, bevor im Einzelnen auf zwei Strategiekonzepte zur Umsetzung eingegangen wird. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit gilt hierbei dem AGIL-Konzept, weil es auf die Multidimensionalität von Diversity eingeht. Die Fragen nach der Erfolgsmessung eines solchen Konzeptes und eine kritische Hinterfragung der Chancen und Möglichkeiten bilden dann die Basis für ein ausführliches Fazit. Der zweite Teil der Arbeit befasst sich mit der Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung aus einer progressiven Sichtweise, welche das Fundament für Diversity Management bildet. Hierzu werden in einem ersten Schritt die unterschiedlichen Facetten eines Organisationsbegriffs beleuchtet, um auf eine differierende Perspektive organisationaler Ziele hinzuweisen. Der Fokus soll hierbei auf dem organisationalen Lernen sowie der Netzwerkbildung und den damit verbundenen Vorteilen für die Organisation liegen. In diesem Zusammenhang soll als strategisches Instrument der Personalentwicklung, den multikulturellen Projektteams besondere Aufmerksamkeit gelten. Hiefür ist es allerdings zunächst erforderlich, auf Prozesse interkulturellen Lernens hinzuweisen, um in einem weiteren Schritt auf Gegenstand und Ziele dieser Arbeitsteams zu verweisen.
