Second edition in English. 127pp. This book gives in a simple, moving fashion the true story of the effect on the little village of Lindenkopf of the impact between the Nazi state and the Evangelical Church. The book is bound in the original mottled white-blue cloth covered boards with blue titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition. The contents are tight and clean with some pencil underlining or lines drawn on the margin of a few of the pages. A name has been neatly written on the top edge of the front free endpaper. The unclipped dustwrapper has some shelf wear with light soiling and the spine is browned. The spine ends are lightly bumped with small nicks at the top of the spine.

Het gebied met zo'n 15 dorpskernen, gelegen tussen de omliggende steden Den Haag, Delft en Rotterdam, omvatte oorspronkelijk ook Loosduinen en Hoek van Holland. Topografische kaarten vormen het begin. In de zeventiende eeuw zijn de vele lusthoven en buitenplaatsen met tuinen, de bakermat voor het huidige tuinbouwgebied, vastgelegd in etsen en gravures.Met zijn tuinbouwtaferelen en weidelandschappen is het Westland ook in de periode 1800-2000 een eminent decor voor kunstenaars. Vincent van Gogh verkende de duinen rond Loosduinen en Monster en verhaalt in zijn brieven dat hij de stoomtram naar Naaldwijk wil nemen.
