Content: 7 chapters; b/w frontispiece, 3 internal b/w plates. The top edge of the spine strip is a frayed. The pages are lightly tanned. The front endpaper has a few, small stains, mostly light. A corner of the back endpaper has foxing. The bottom corner (margin) of the frontispiece has water stain. DJ: The SPINE panel has darkened and has a vertical crease line, a 3/8 in. closed tear, and chips on the top and bottom edges. FRONT panel: The illustration has four 1/8 in. spots that are rubbed to white and a few other pinpoint size ones. The front fold has intermittent white spots and is chipped on each end. A 1/2 in. chip is on the top margin. The bottom margin has a 3/8 in. peeled tear and a 1 1/2 in. light bend line. The BACK panel has shelf wear soiling, a 5/8 in. peeled tear.
