Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. 5" x 7-3/8", 160pp incl. prelims. Printed on alkaline paper and bound in top stapled signatures in uncoated printed card stock cover. Shelf / reading wear, age discoloration, light soiling, minor edge wear; the wrapper is frayed at the base of the spine. Binding is square and tight. A previous owner's names written in pencil at the top of the half title page, pages are otherwise tanned but clean and unmarked.

First revised edition (originally published 1933). Staple-bound pamphlet; printed card wrappers; 96pp. Trivial external soiling; hint of aging to text, still Near Fine. One of several printings of Olgin's strident "Third Period" polemic, first published in 1933.This version presumably issued to coincide with the 1934 midterm elections. Olgin, editor of the Yiddish communist daily Freiheit, characterizes the New Deal as thinly-disguised fascism and calls for the immediate overthrow of Capitalism by any means necesssary.
