Tape, fading and wear to spine and covers, name "L.Glick" stamped on cover, titles and folding maps (he is listed as the author of a 1918 article on the Twin Peaks Tunnel as being an assistant engineer in the Bureau Of Engineering, San Francisco); otherwise clean and complete. Rare and early report on the San Francisco underground water supply with interesting color maps. Prepared by noted San Francisco City Engineer Michael O'Shaughnessy (1864-1934). He was the builder of the Hetch-Hetchy Water and Power Supply for San Francisco and a number of dams, aqueducts, tunnels, etc. The O'Shaughnessy Dam in California was named in his honour as was a boulevard and sea-wall in San Francisco. Printed by Phillips & Van Orden Company. With 10 plates, mostly folding including 3 color maps of San Francisco (city and county) showing: location of wells, geological and amounts of water drawn from wells (by district).
