Interiors of all three volumes are clean and unmarked. Bindings all sound, although with some rusting to staples. Quite uncommon on the market, these three booklets each feature 20 different typefaces from the antique type collection of T.J. Lyons. Each booklet is printed and illustrated in 2-3 colors, and according to the third volume, "has proven to be a motivation inspiring more diversified design in the hep world of the 1970's". Although they do not bear his ownership marks, these three volumes were previously owned by printer Bernhard J. Kress, who was vice president of the McGraw-Phillips (PhilMac) Printing Company of New York, and also appears to have worked for TypoGraphics Communications, who published the booklets. Soft Cover.
