A detailed account of the history of Simon Langton schools in Canterbury largely from 1881 onwards, but section on the foundation's earlier origins, dating back to Simon Langton, brother of Steven Langton, the Archbishop of Canterbury who had a hand in the events leading to King John's signing of Magna Carta in 1215.
