Celkem dosahl 58 vitezstvi, dalsi 2 mu byly uznany Rusy po valce, dale sestrelil 2 balony a velke mnozstvi nepratelskych letadel poskodil. Jiz ve druhe kapitole se dostava k popisu bojovych operaci na fronte, ale v knize naleznete tez vypraveni o boji s pocasim, letani pri teplote -40o C apod. Kniha obsahuje 60 cernobilych fotografii letadel finskych i stroju protivnika, barevne kresby letounu, na nichz Luukkanen letal, a dve mapy oblasti boju. Dale kniha obsahuje tabulku Luukkanenovych sestrelu (vcetne identifikace mnoha protivniku), srovnavaci tabulku finskych hodnosti, prehled nejuspesnejsich finskych stihacu atd. Diky tomu vsemu by se mohla stat ctivym pruvodcem historii finskeho stihaciho letectva v letech 1939 az 1945.
