A striking and dramatic first screening poster for the 1952 controversial Italian sex-trafficking drama La Tratta delle bianche starring Eleonora Rossi Drago and in which Sophia Loren had a small role. The film was retitled "Girls Marked Danger" for the American market and the Finnish title translates as "White Slave Trade in Napoli". The film had only the one theatrical release in Finland and this is a first-screening poster. This particular poster is 60cm x 40cm approx. Printed by Fotopaino Oy and artist-initialled in the plate. It is in superb,cinema-used condition with no pinholes or residue stains. At the top left there is a paper-clip impression suggesting this is how it was mounted. Minor wrinkles in the margins and folding crease to centre but otherwise Fine condition and very clean. A really eye-catching movie poster with lots going on and stylish titles. We describe all noticeable faults in our movie posters but for best appreciation of condition please examine the high resolution image which accompanies the listing.
