The exhibition, a celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of the March on Rome, was held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome from 1932 to 1934. Opened by Mussolini on 28 October 1932, it… had 4 million visitors. This well-designed and heavily illustrated "guide book" gives an excellent impression of the scale of this monumental transformation of Palazzo delle Esposizioni and of the techniques and tactics used by Sironi to induce in the visitor a sense of complete identification and loss of boundaries that was almost hypnotic in its intensity. The design of the front cover is dominated by a slab-like portrait head of Mussolini, behind which runs the visual representation of the rhythmic chant of "DU-CE DU-CE DU-CE….". Small 4to., 262pp, facsimile letter frontispiece, 12 colour plates, numerous half-tone illustrations to the text, in the original cloth backed pictorial boards. Exhibition catalogue of the Fascist propaganda show Exhibition of the Fascist Revolution", which was held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. Benito Mussoli…ni opened the exhibition on October 28, 1932 on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the March on Rome. The exhibition was held from 1932 to 1934 and was the longest-lasting show and the largest official dislplay of the Fascist regime. Each room of the exhibition was on a specific time period and pompously arranged. The exhibition was repeated in 1937 and 1942, but without the same success. Corners rubbed.

The coloured plates are by the Istituto Italiano d'Arti Grafiche di Bergamo.

Lievisime tracce di umidita' ad alcune pagine e piccolissimie tracce di colla al dorso. Copia comunque in ottime condizioni.
