A very good copy of this staple- bound specimen book of the record gothic family of typefaces from the LudlowTypograph Company of Chicago, together with single-fold leaflet listing other typefaces available. Undated but probably early 1960s, judging by the graphic design. No Dust Jacke…t (as issued). Cover: green card with black lettering to front and rear; very clean and bright, just some slight darkening and rubbing to spine. Internally: very clean and tightly staple- bound; no bookplates, markings or inscriptions; Unpaginated, but quite a substantial book.

Cover: black card with white cartouche, with black lettering to front; in very good condition…for its age, very clean an bright, just slightest rubbing to spine and darkening to page edges. Internally: very clean and tightly perfect bound; previous owner's bookplate to inside front cover, signature and date (as above); some very neat annotations, particularly to contents list, some of which appear to be page corrections. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white. 116 pp.
