Despite all of these distractions, the boards are steady. The contents are benign. There are several previous owner stamps and signatures on the early pages. There is foxing fore and aft. The contents do have genial and general evidence of use throughout. There are occasional age-related, storage-related marks. The contents are amiable, comfortable, clean and clear, amenable, evocative and affectionate, even a little breathless at times!
