Lucas (1868-1938) was an English humorist, writer and editor, who wrote for the Punch magazine. Illustrated with a engraved colour title page and plates by F. D. Bedford. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally fairly smart, with just some small marks to the boards. Front hinge is slightly strained but is held firmly. Internally, firmly bound.
