Puis, dans une seconde partie, la correspondance relative à l'expédition d'Égypte et de Syrie, la relation de la campagne de la Haute Égypte, rédigée à Syouth par le général Desaix, suivie de différentes proclamations du général Bonaparte, aux soldats et aux habitants de l'Égypte.
