The imprint on the jacket front panel and spine states "17th Edition" but this has been hand corrected to "18th Edition", "1959" noted on spine strip.

Numerous fold-out maps including large folding map in pocket on the rear paste-down. Errata slip present on page x. Square, tight and clean throughout with just some gentle bumping to spine ends but remarkably well preserved. feels unread and all maps look like they have never been unfolded. Clipped dust-jacket has several chips along the edges and spine ends. Still quite bright and complete. Now in a protective jacket cover. A sharp collectable copy.
